Mamas & Papas All Terrain Prams
All terrain prams are pushchairs that can be used on rough surfaces like cobblestones, woodland paths and fields with muddy soil. They are usually made with large rubber tyres for all-terrain use, unlike regular pushchairs which use air-filled tyres that can easily go flat.
These seats are usually reversible (parent or world-facing) and can accommodate an infant or a car seat. They should be light and easy to fold, so that they are convenient when travelling.
1. Mama & Papas Ocarro
The Mamas & Papas Ocarro pushchair is a great choice for families seeking a pram that can handle all terrains. It's large and robust, with dual suspension and large wheels. The seat can be positioned flat to promote healthy sleeping. It comes with a cup holder, a rain cover, and sun canopy for your outings. The Ocarro folds easily and is easy to move. It takes less than five minutes and the handle has been designed to provide the best control.
The Ocarro has a great range of features to keep your baby happy with a head pillow and padding for the chest. It offers several recline positions, which include a flat position for healthy napping on the go. It can be used with either the parent facing or forward facing. It has trims that reflect light as well as an integrated ventilation system to keep baby cool and comfortable.
The design is gorgeous and the fabrics are luxurious. The brown leather trim around the handles and the bumper bar was my preferred. It's a bit heavier than some of the other buggies I tested but it's a great quality. It is a great pushchair to take to the park, strolls in the countryside and getting on and off public transport.
The Ocarro is available as a 4-piece pushchair or as part of a complete travel system with carrycot and car seat (both sold separately). The Ocarro is suitable for use from birth, and includes everything you need to take on big adventures. The carrycot has an easy lie-flat and magnetic apron that tucks away quickly and quietly. It also comes with a hood and air vent to keep baby snug throughout the year.
2. Cybex Avi
The Cybex AVI is a running stroller that allows you and your child to run with ease. It is lightweight, simple to steer, and has an exclusive frontwheel that can be locked. The adapters available allow it to be used with any Cybex infant car seat or gb infant car.
The Avi is also available as a "One Box" option, which includes the frame as well as the seat pack and canopy all in one box. It's very simple to put together, saving you time and money.
This is the ideal choice for parents who love to run and wish to keep their child active. It is suitable for running with babies from birth, and can be used with any Cybex car seat or gb. It features simple and quick one-pull system for tightening the harness.

It comes with a slim, air-filled tire design and an adjustable and soft sports seat. It also has reflective elements for increased visibility and an XL sun canopy, which comes with UPF 50+ protection.
It is not recommended for use on rocky or hard surfaces as it is not designed to be used in an adjustable position for infants. It should also be used for walking and not running or jogging.
As a 3-time Olympic finalist, two-time world champion finalist, Australian record holder and running coach at Gregson Running, Genevieve Gregson knows all about running and parenting. We asked her to test the Cybex Avi stroller and here's what she had to say:
3. BOB Sport Utility
BOB Sport Utility is the ideal stroller for outdoor adventures off the beaten path. It features a fixed front wheel for added stability when jogging or hiking, pneumatic knobby tires on high-impact polymer wheels, and a hand brake to provide downhill control. It also has an easy two-step folding system that makes it easy to move and store. This baby jogger stroller also features a movable handlebar that fits parents of all heights and a large canopy that has a peek-a-boo window to let you keep an eye on your child. You can also pair it with a car seat for infants to create the ultimate travel system.
The BOB Sport Utility's main disadvantage is its lack of maneuverability. All-terrain pram scored an average score of 6 out of 10. It is necessary to tip it back, which can be difficult in tight spaces, such as cafes and stores. The stroller is easy to push on flat surfaces thanks to its great roll and adjustable track.
The stroller features single-action brakes that are simple to use and sandal-friendly. It also comes with a deceleration handbrake which helps you to slow down when running and relieves the pressure of having to use your feet. This feature has one downside that you must remove your brake handle in order to turn it on. This can be frustrating when you are on the run.
BOB also has adapters for accessories to fit a wide range of infant car seats with this stroller, making it a great option for families with multiple children. From removing the BOB Sport utility to getting it ready to go, it took us 5 minutes and 24 seconds.
4. Cybex Aton
Cybex is renowned for its premium seats and simple-to-use features. This seat is not an exception. It is among our most loved car seats for infants. This is largely because of its design and the fact that it is compatible with all Cybex strollers as well as some from other brands as well for a Travel System. This seat also has great safety features.
In our infant Car Seats tests The Cybex Aton scores above average in both forward-facing and rear-facing installation and comfort. It comes with a headrest that adjusts to 11 different heights and a no-rethread strap that makes it easier to adjust the straps as your child grows. Cybex seats also have an extra load leg at the base to reduce the risk of a crash causing rotation and an anti-rebound safety feature to keep your child in the middle of the seat.
The Aton is iSize approved from birth and is compatible with the Cybex Base M isofix base to add an extra layer of security. It also features an innovative linear side-impact protection that redirects and absorbs the force of a collision. The Aton's short shell may not fit in cars that are compact like some other models. The canopy isn't as large, and it's missing a peekaboo window.
A second problem is the price. It's a pricey seat and that's not even taking into account the fact that it performed better than most others in our tests. There are other excellent choices on the market at lower costs.
5. Mama & Papas Maternity
Drawing inspiration from real-life, Mamas & Papas have a range that helps new parents succeed regardless of the parenting adventure they're on. They design products that combine functionality and style with a strong identity. Their innovative products are influenced by their personal experiences as parents, their customers' insights and the rigorous testing they conduct in their UK testing labs.
The Ocarro all-terrain pram is one of their best-selling products. It provides superior comfort for your infant and is ideal for exploring the countryside or running errands in town. The dual suspension and durable rubber tyres provide a smooth ride. The large padded seat and chest pads along with the head-hugging pillows add to the comfort. The compact one-handed fold makes it easy to store or transport.
The brand also makes nursery furniture, ranging from co-sleepers and cots to high chairs and booster seats. The maternity clothing they offer is stylish and comfortable. Their Luxury Maternity Bra - Slate is ideal for special occasions that combine satin with lace and adorable bow trims.
Mamas & Papas has its pros and cons, as with any other product. The company's website offers an array of products at a reasonable price, and the selection is good. They have a bad name for customer service. Problems can take some time to solve, and they're not always friendly or helpful. Many shoppers shop around before making the purchase.
